Lady Micte was the Goddess of Death. A power-hungry and ambitious goddess in her youth, she married Lord Mictlan to elevate her status. After hearing a rumour that a demigod child being sacrificed would grant the god who did so almost infinite power, she had a daughter with King Teca. But she soon developed feelings for the child, and thereafter took steps to protect her from Lord Mictlan for as long as possible, often visiting her on her birthdays.
Lady Micte then revealed herself to Maya after she escaped The Underworld and fought against Mictlan on her behalf. She was later poisoned by Mictlan and died during the final battle.
