Chiapa is the pet jaguar of the Teca royal family. He is a battle cat and often accompanies his masters to wars. Chiapa is fearless, loyal and determined.
He accompanied King Teca, the Jaguar brothers and the Teca army to the Divine Gate, however, they were stopped by Lord Mictlan. The god then Mind-controlled the army to turn on their commanders, killing the Jaguar brothers and severely injuring King Teca. Chiapa was a witness to this carnage and was left with severe PTSD as a result, causing him to run away from battles in fear.
However, Chiapa managed to overcome his PTSD and successfully assisted Maya and the others in the final battle.

Chiapa is a black jaguar with yellow spots. Some of his spots look like skulls, and he wears gold medallions as earrings.

Strengths[]

  • Claws and teeth: Chiapa's primary weapons are his claws and teeth. He uses for them for slashing, swiping, biting and dealing maximum damage.
  • Agility: Chiapa, being a jaguar, is very agile, and can evade dangers without much effort.
  • Fast reaction times: Chiapa's reaction times, are very fast, due to him being a jaguar.
